Born in Chongqing China, in 1997, lives in London, UK.
Yibeijia Li is a London-based artist with background in Architecture. She graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2022 with a degree in Architecture. She has worked for design collective ASSEMBLE and as a tutor in BA Architecture at Central Saint Martins.
Li's artistic practice is marked by a rich interplay of object and space, drawing from her architectural background to infuse spatial dynamics into her sculptures. Her work is deeply influenced by both her cultural heritage in Southwest China, and her experiences of London’s urban tapestry. This duality is evident in her sculpture works, which often explore themes of memory, loss, and regeneration through the lens of both natural and built environments.
