Home Away From Home 
A group exhibition curated in collaboration with Manifold Space Manifold Space is a London-based art collective dedicated in nurturing and promoting the talents of young creative forces, led by designers and artists Yibeijia Li and Chang Liu , who have experienced in community- oriented projects, art education and curation.

Home Away From Home is a discuss and focused on cultural displacement, travelling and notion of home in the post pandemic era.

In July 2023 Yibeijia Li as the curator for Manifold Space (MS) presented a group exhibition featuring artworks by 26 talented artists. Series of performances and screening were designed as part of the exhibition program, as well as a, artist interview series - “Behind The Door”produced by Yibeijia Li in collaboration with Chang Liu, and streamed on instagram and YouTube. 

In line with our vision we plan to bridge the gap between young artists and underrepresented heritage spaces in London. Our collaboration with House of Annetta(HoA), a cultural centre in East London, aims to address their challenges related to funding and lack of cultural representation.

This collaboration serves as a means to explore how heritage spaces can assist thecreative needs of the younger generation. As stakeholders, artists will conduct
a seriesof cultural production including public events, and up-cycling broken furnitures in HoA that benefit the local community, providing greater access to arts and crafts, and attracting new audiences to the area.
 This is an interview series
followed by the exhibition, featuring artists from The Summer Exhibition Home Away From Home.

Taking the audience into the creative worlds of the artists’ sharing their relationship, memories and anticipation of the Home.
