Performing Projection Theatrum Mundi, TM Editions, London
2021
Performing Projections explores what it means to be an architectural citizen in our contemporary world of cultural collision. What does it mean to be displaced? We ask this in both the physical sense, to migrate, to cross borders, to seek refuge, and the metaphysical, to have your voice marginalised, to be disempowered, to feel your identity has been unrepresented, underrepresented or misrepresented.
“No properties, only belongings, is a project that explores the notions of home and travel through the documenting the ephemeral collecting memories, experiences, and sto- ries. The Performance was conducted with seven participants each of whom shared the common experience of living far from home. It started with the act of collecting a suit- case of meaningful personal objects which were then cataloged. Objects were chosen for their emotional resonance over their functionality and through a process of story exchange, the memories connected to them were teased out and shared.”
House of Annetta / y.i.e (year in review)first edition 2022, London
“Year in Review” is a collection of reflections and relations giving some sense of activities in 25 Princelet St over the year that some call 2022. It is a child of its time. A mark of human thought and hopes produced in an open-hearted, people-centred, mistakeful, improvised and emergent context that has been House of Annetta. Through it s creation we will understand better the work we have done and make it possible to share some of that with you readers. We trust it will seed new explorations for you and us beyond this moment.
